We're thrilled to announce some exciting new features for Lockerz that will launch soon. These changes will affect our members in a number of ways, from how they interact with other Lockerz users to how they share content on the site. We particularly want to point out that we will be making it easier for Lockerz members to select, collect and submit image-based content from across the Web, including photos currently posted through Lockerz. What remains unchanged is that, by making a submission such as posting a photo, you are agreeing to grant Lockerz and other users of the Website a license to use that submission. What will change, though, involves a feature currently available to those Lockerz members who have uploaded photos through their account. Members had the ability to choose whether all of those profile photos were available to Lockerz and the general public, or available only to Lockerz and certain members. When the new features take effect, this ability to limit availability to uploaded photos will end. As has been true for photos uploaded by those who were not Lockerz members, all photos posted at that time (and all posted after) will be (i) public and (ii) licensed to Lockerz and other users that see them. This is consistent with how other popular user-generated content-based Websites treat content. What also will be new is that all photos will be available for you and others to turn into Decalz┬« to collect and share. We therefore encourage all members to review their currently posted photos to ensure they are comfortable with this handling of the profile photos. If you do not consent to Lockerz treating one or more of your profile photos as publicly available, licensed to Lockerz and others for their use, and convertible by you and others into Decalz, please remove any such photo no later than November 21, 2011. Otherwise, by agreeing to leave a photo posted, you are consenting to each such photo being treated as described when the new features take effect. To check whether you ever have limited the public availability of photos, log into Lockerz, click on My Account and select Privacy; there you will see what you have selected for all images in My Photos. If it is set to Public, you may choose to do nothing before the new features take effect. If it is set to something else, you may want one or more of your photos to not be available as described above. To do this, log into Lockerz, select Photos in your profile, and choose the individual images you want to delete by clicking the "x" icon under each image. Images you delete will not be available to anyone on the Website. Thank you for your continued support of Lockerz.
